Design Thinking

Who is Kristin?

Discover

Houston-based UX Researcher with a background in social work and public health. My experiences are rooted in empathy-driven practices, patient-centered healthcare, and health promotion.

Develop

Investigation led me to UX!
Through UT Austin's UX/UI certificate program, I applied UX research methodologies and professional experiences to develop human-centered products.

As you have gone through my portfolio, you might have wondered: "How are UX, Social Work, and Public Health similar?"

Define

While integrating mental health apps into my practice, I wondered:

  • "How can these apps better support my clients?"

  • "My clients use this app infrequently, what would increase their consistent use?"

I started brainstorming features and researching how to improve this issue.

Deliver

As your next UX Researcher, I not only bring a fresh lens to your team but I deliver products centered around a user-first, empathy-focused perspective. I would love to connect via LinkedIn and discuss mutual interests!
